Anglican Priest and Social Justice Activist, Father Michael Lapsley discussed the legacy of Nelson Mandela who died on December 5th at the age of 95. “I believe there is a new surge of inspiration in the nation. People are saying that we need a new Nelson Mandela,” said Father Lapsley. He also remembers his own fight against apartheid and how he became a target for apartheid supporters. “I was on the hit list 3 months after Mandela was released from prison because I was on the side of those against apartheid,” said Father Lapsley.
