On this episode of Africa In The City, Tracy delves into the reoccurring issue of police brutality. She revisits the death of Mohamed Bah, by NYPD on the night of September 25th, 2012. Bah and his family migrated to America from Guinea West Africa decades ago. The family now resides in New York City’s Harlem neighborhood where according to them they lived peacefully until the night Bah’s family sought an ambulance for him. He wasn’t himself. When a member of the NYPD showed up, things went wrong and Bah would be dead within an hour. It’s a night they say destroyed them and their confidence in New York City’s police force.
